One of my favourite ways to procrastinate is to find DIY projects on Pinterest or blogs and attempt to make it. I love finding new and creative ways to up-cycle things.
I thought I'd share a list of some of my favourite home-ware DIY projects that I've discovered. These are all fairly quick and easy- so give them a try.

Product Review // Clarisonic Mia 2

I've used lots of facial cleansing brushes in the past few years but I find that they are usually a little too harsh on my skin, especially for every day.

I recently started using the Clarisonic Mia 2 which unlike other brushes I have come across. Since then I have incorporated it into my night time routine, and what a difference it has made! I was a little worried about breaking out as I did in the past from other brushes but since I started I only experienced a couple of spots. Immediately after the initial use my skin has been feeling soft, clean and refreshed. I found that it works best with a gel or foam cleanser. After cleansing with the Mia 2 I apply my CLINIQUE Repair Laser Focus Serum and Lancôme Renergie Lift Action cream which absorbs almost instantaneously.

The company claims that the Mia 2 cleanses 6x better than manual cleaning with your hands or a washcloth. The brush has a minute timer which vibrates every 20 seconds to ensure you are dividing the time equally over your face. I learned that the secret behind this product is the technology! It has a patented sonic frequency that oscillates at 300 movements per second while cleansing and remove impurities in a minute. Now although that may sound super powerful, it is still quite gentle enough to use twice a day. And since its waterproof you can use it in the shower (YES!).

The Mia 2 is also travel friendly as it is small and easy to pack, plus it comes with its own a travel case and mini cleanser and an interchangeable head brush. Just (gently) throw it in your bag and head to Paris! But don't forget the charger as this device is rechargeable! Clarisonic recommends that you replace your brush head every 3 months for optimal use and results.  I purchased mine from Sephora for $30.

The Clarisonic Mia 2 is well worth the investment, in fact your skin will thank you! In addition to the Mia 2 they also have the aria. Will you join the #sonicrevolution?

The Clarisonic Mia 2 is available at Hudson’s Bay Company, Sephora, Shoppers Drug Mart and online at Clarisonic.ca. Valued at– $180 CDA
